CYCLE OF LIFE.

CYCLE OF LIFE.

A Poem by Tanya7

Trapped inside a tunnel,
Darkness all around,
Screeching silence lingers,
Hands and feet are bound.

Muscles keep on throbbing,
Heart is pounding fast,
Chances keep on slipping,
Hope is in the past

Somewhere in the distance,
A wick is being lit,
Casting a long shadow,
Across this deadly pit

Hope maybe returning,
My heart begins to soar,
The fleeing thought of freedom,
Is within my palm once more.

I grope the air around me,
Searching for the jagged wall,
Adrenalin empowers,
And i begin to crawl.

Ascending very slowly,
I aim to reach the tip,
A thunder crashes through me,
And i begin to slip.

I wake at the very bottom,
Darkness is all around,
Screeching silence lingers,
Hands and feet are bound.
Adrenaline

This poem is so real!
B/c it's so true sometimes things in life just don't work out, no matter how hard you try.
Amazing poem:)
