ASHAMED OF ME
 
Secret kisses behind closed doors
Holding hands on streets that are not ours
A hidden love
No one can know
You love me
 
Too much pressure to be perfect
A high school dream
Perfect daughter
Perfect mother
Perfect little straight girl
 
Hiding your heart behind a wall
Hiding the truth with lies
The darkness of omission
Pretending to be something you’re not
Breaking my heart
 
Because you’re ashamed of me
