~Journal Entry~

You walk alone most of the time. You don’t like the distractions, well, they don’t. They like the silence. It causes you to hear them. Hear them cause your cries. Tell you you’re worthless. They bring up the last, replay it in your mind over and over while they become stronger with all of the pain you let out. You found a way to block them out, though. For the most part. Put your headphones in, blast the music. Can’t let them win… But they’re louder than that. Did you really think you could beat them? Think again. Their voices start to leak back into your head. You can’t stop them now. You just made them angrier. You have to silence them somehow. Bang your head against the wall, let the blood flow from your wrists. It stops. The voices are gone… But now, so are you. Looks like they’ve won again…

Turn that music up louder! Music can heal so much. I think a lot of us, especially the artistic types, have felt this way at one point or another. The darkness is both painful and alluring. I enjoyed this struggling with demons and the imagery you produced.

Truly a disappointing reality nowadays. So many get lost in thoughts such as this, blind to the beauty and positivity of the world. Then again, it's easy to miss the good when society focuses so much on giving the bad publicity. After all, "hatred is always relevant" (K.A.A.N.). Solemn piece, I like the small journal entry style writing. Keep up the good work
