The Stages Of Our Life

The Stages Of Our Life

A Poem by Tasha

Alive

Infant

Crying

Crawling

First steps

First word

Toddler

Mischievous

Spoiled

Have to say everything

Have to run everywhere

Destructive

Child

Smart mouth

Hyper

Jealous of the toddler

Wants attention

Teen

Hits Puberty

Everything is about popularity

Fashion sense

Aware of the other sex

Turns bossy

Thinks the world revolves around them

Young Adult

College

Dreams

Love

Children

Middle Aged Adult

Stressed

Hardly dreams

Depressed

Worn out

Tired

Working

Getting by

Elderly Adult

Wise

Helpful

Death

These are the stages of our lives

But what we do with them in-between, however, is up to us

Make the best of your life

Live up to your potential

Make a difference because

When you're dead, you're dead

But your memory lives on
