I Dreamed a Dream

I dreamt of us

Sitting next to each other

Our thighs and arms pressing against each other

You started to look at me and I back

Leads to a kiss

In front of everyone

Just like that 

We knew we were meant to be together

I can feel our lips caressing each other playfully

Our hugs grew tighter

Hand grips stronger

The moment was perfect

I never knew what happened next 

Because I woke up to the sound of the vacuum cleaner and distant shouting

My heart sank when I realized it was just a dream

I couldn't fall asleep after that

All I have were the memories

That weren't even real to begin with

But someday I hope it would be true

Just
