Writer's Block is a Meanie!

This is my first post, describing how I feel about writing.

I rise 

in the morning,

to this 

blank page 

before me.

Pen ready, 

paper ready,
mind empty.

So hard

I try to think.

So fiercely,

my heart yearns

to write.

But I can only sit here,

in a heap of fear,

that this feeling will take

me, for all eternity.

Deep breathing.

Calm and cool.

Clearing my mind.

What do I want to say?

And for hours more

I shall sit.
