Days that will come

Days that will come

A Poem by Stephen Taws
"

A devoted and faithful gesture.

"
With a past so deep, it's hard to imagine,
The torment, the anger and the hate,
Visions that confuse and hold on tight,
But with will comes resolve, now the end in sight.

Peace and serenity now lay before her,
With hope and love the pain will subside,
Courage forms a foundation for peace,
One day you will find the longed for release.

I profess as your friend, for I know your true beauty
I gaze and smile, eternaly smile :D
Lush and sublime, two qualities amoung many
In wonder I now gaze, a life time away or next day, if any?

Candles and forest, moonlight envelops,
No one more deserving of a devoted love,
In wonder I travel, transfixed on the outcome,
To hold in my arms, locked in embrace, my life done.

I can now see her days, long and happy they are spent
Swings and young children, brown and red leaves at their feet
A slight breeze and warm air, eyes glance, interconnect,
Love rises, hearts content, time pauses, perfect.
