5 Wishes for a Wishing Well

5 Wishes for a Wishing Well

A Poem by Tayler
"

This was written a while ago for a boy I had a major crush on. That boy is now my love. Zach, this is for you.

"

They say that a wish is worth a penny.

If that were the case, then I'd buy many.

I flick my wrist and the penny falls.

Into the darkness, the Wishing Well calls.

For my first wish, I wish for your gaze,

Eyes that break through the hormone haze.

My second wish, I wish for your voice,

I'd listen forever if it were my choice.

Third to come, I wish for your touch,

To be in your arms, I'd love so much.

For the fourth, I wish for your lips,

A kiss so sweet my heart surely skips.

Number five, the final fall.

One last penny, please hear my call.

I wish for you, your love and devotion.

The perfect sin, the perfect emotion.

Dear Wishing Well, I wish it forever,

Grant me this wish, I'll wish again never.
