Dancing in the Snow

Dancing in the Snow

A Poem by Kiara

The snow falls rather heavily
And lands on our hats.
We just dance in the snow
And often we kiss.
The only thing that is cold
Is my hand
And, of course, my other hand.
It's after the basketball game
And I'm waiting for my ride.
The sun is set
And there's no moon in sight.
The snow falls too quickly.
You spin me in a circle,
And then another,
And then another.
I'm so dizzy and giggly.
You're smiling your handsome smile
And people stop to watch us.
I find it strange,
Them watching us,
But they smile
At the sight.
Maybe they enjoy watching us
Enjoying our time together,
And with you,
Every second is worth it.
