Fire in the Sky

The midnight breeze

Blows again.

The stars have ran

To escape their ill fate.

The moon disappeared,

Fleeing in haste.

The sky is set on fire

As I run through

The burning buildings,

Setting fire

To the homes of friends

And family.

The world is against me

So I must fight

To protect myself.

I must defeat the attackers.

I must burn them to ash.

I must escape

This crime scene.

I must sail away,

Across the ocean,

To a new world,

Where I can begin again.
