For You, Master

For You, Master

A Poem by Kiara

I claw out my eyes

And rip out my teeth.

I tear the hair from my head

And break my jaw.

I break and

Bloody my nose.

I bend each finger back

Until it snaps.

I claw at my arms

Until blood runs

Down my wrists,

In thick, dark currents.

I take a hammer to my legs,

Swinging with a brutal force.

I stab my stomach and chest

With thumbnails and safety pins

And set myself on fire.

I scream in pain

And howl in agony.

I take my hand

And shove it into my throat.

I start gagging

As I shove it farther

And farther

Until my suffering ends.
