His Smile

His Smile

A Poem by Taylor

His face glows bright,
A beam of moonlight.
His hair is a sight,
Though not as dark as midnight.

I dream in the comfort of him,
The moonlight quiet and dim.
In his eyes, I swim,
Sleepy in this prelim.

In his arms I sleep.
In his arms I weep.
These arms are arms that keep
Me safe from the monsters that creep.

I hope he stays awhile,
Saving me from this world so vile
Always going the extra mile
So that he could make me smile.
