Nobody's Home

Nobody's Home

A Poem by Taylor

They're knocking on the door
But nobody's home.
They can break it down
But all they'll find
Is a piece of me,
One here and one there.
They'll see my fragile heart,
Barely beating.
They'll see my empty eyes,
Still seeing.
I'm lost.
I'm still here but nobody's home.
