There Was You

To a good friend.

There was a hole inside my heart, 

It hurt so much, it tore me apart,

 I was broken, nobody could see,

 The empty void inside of me,

 Then There Was You...

 You filled the void inside of me,

 You raised me up to help me be,

 A little more happy,

 I smiled today,

 The pit of evil, kept at bay,

 But...  

If you leave me, you will see,

 The empty void return to be,

My past will make my happy flee,

 I'll turn back, into the me,

 Before There Was You.
