MEMORIES

memories are the mind's store of remembered things

it is the past that was elapsed

it is the  past that was freshly tamed to the mind

memories warm  and warn

and steer us to a world apart

but they demolish and split apart

things end but they last forever

it's more than a dustbin of time

stuffed with yesterday's trash

it is a glorious grab bag of the past

from which one can at leisure pluck bittersweet experiences  

for  times pass by and relive less

it is the way of holding onto the things you love

the things you miss  

the things you  regret upon

the things you never want to lose

for the sake of it fading into your heart

it's an endless string of  images etched about

that has no limits bound

and that makes it appeal around
