Rain and Everything Else

Rain and Everything Else

A Poem by 7211
"

Just a little fear of alcohol

"

What has become of this world?

That we flee from what cannot hurt us,

Yet we flock to what can?

I would not really call this a poem. I just like to babble with verbal scribbles.

These words made me think... I had to break them down word for word to give it meaning! Here is my interpretation;
-"What has become of this world?"
Pretty much "what is going on??"
-"That we flee from what cannot hurt us,"
We are fearful... We shy from happy things.
-"Yet we flock to what can?"
But we turn to things that destroy us.
And this goes back to asking "why is this?"
