A promise to a friend.

Is this what it means to be friends?

 

Standing here holding her tight

My shoulder's wet but I don't mind

Eventually she quietens down

Neither of us makes a sound

I hold her while her heart heals

To find a shoulder to cry on and have all sadness disappear is the best we can look for in life. That woman is very lucky to have a friend with such a heart of gold.
