Autumn

Autumn

A Poem by Melinda
"

Just a sweet little poem about my favorite time of year.. Thats it ..

"
What is there to love on an Autumn day at home
Sitting cross-legged on the porch all alone?
Daring to declare perfection while admiring the sky-
Sunlight making prizms of the lashes 'round your eyes
Watching twirlers in scarlet with golden crowns-
Leap from the trees, and land safe on the ground.
Chrysanthemum purfume floating on the breeze-
With nutmeg, and cinnamon or any spice you please.
It's the gift of one last kiss before green bids goodbye,
In hues forged in fire come to life with a sigh.

About
Everything I told you about myself is terribly outdated. In my own defense I'm just lousy at keeping in touch. P.S. I love you (giggle) more..

Writing
Cold, Man. Cold, Man.
