Fruit

Fruit

A Poem by Melinda
"

Yeah it's got a couple of bruises but.. ya know.. you can eat around them?

"
Bruised like an apple
that fell from a cart,
if he would look closer
he might notice her heart
Is much like the imperfect fruit.
She offers it to Him
And prays he won’t see
The damage from loving
A previous “He”-
And says:
“Its not perfect, but you’re
Welcome to it.”

About
Everything I told you about myself is terribly outdated. In my own defense I'm just lousy at keeping in touch. P.S. I love you (giggle) more..

Writing
Cold, Man. Cold, Man.
