A Poem by Tenebrousoul

Pushed around from all sides,

It'd be so easy to fall and cry.

Wallow in self pity,

just roll over and die.

That is not going to happen.

I will stand firm,

broken and battered as I am,

I will stand resolute,

against the cold-crushing waves

You will not get the best of me,

You can not take me down

I am not one who is to be trifled with,

I AM NOT SOME GODDAMN CLOWN.

By the time that this is over,

by the end of the turn,

I will tear apart all you hold dear,

strike the match, and watch it burn

to dust

to embers

I will teach you

something you will always remember.
