Sweet Tooth for Sour Patch

A poem about Sour Patch Candy, written for a contest

Sour Patches are good candy
even if they make me sad.

Though I love to eat this treat
it always makes me feel real bad.

Foods with lots and lots of sugar
are not really good for me,

For even though it makes me happy
it always tries to make me un-be.

Blood sugar problems are not fun
especially with sweet tooths like mine.

Still, even though it makes me real sick
I’ll always eat these sweets and whine.
