Cursed Tomorrows

Cursed Tomorrows

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy

The cruelty of fate is not in her refusal to
Relinquish that which we so sorely desire.
No, her cruelty is in her propensity to
Flaunt that which might have been, given
Some other circumstance, place or time.
And so we pack away our hopes, our desires
And our dreams and resume our walk down
The dusty road towards our cursed tomorrows.

Its the journey not the destination. When you have subscribed to that you realize that its the singer not the song. Its what she says about you. I don't think she's the one holding back the all. You may be doing it yourself.

She is however, eternal.

Wasn't sure if this was about virgins, money or truth, whatever it is, I like it, compelling read. Made me think, I like that.

Ouch! Very poignant. I love how you don't shy away from darkness, how you say it all. Sometimes I feel myself wanting to make an ending rosy, like an internal magnet tugging at me, when purity is what is best. Well done here.

oh damn...this is amazing Creepy...I know someone like this...lol, "C'est la vie" we live, we grow, we learn, we love, life deals out challenges and we either sink or swim, it takes some longer to reach the surface, but the strong ones learn to tread.
