Where Is Your Heart?

Where Is Your Heart?

A Poem by thedarkrocket

I'm unable to find the window of your heart, maybe there's a door
To imagine the hurt you've held inside, my heart cannot ignore

Time can express the emotions I can't, where is your heart to listen?
If my words are consumed by pain, love will give life to my new mission

But there is doubt deep in my soul, for I know I can't mend a broken heart
Yet I'm willing to admit defeat, forever attempting to play the right card

When the time comes to face the dark, where is your heart for the world to see?
We will not succumb to a world without light, darkness soon will flee

Love still has many wonders to see, don't let the door to your heart close
When you find love, fear drifts away, like the touch of a thorn upon a rose.
