Masks

Masks

A Poem by TheDragonsCat

Crystal glass

shinning mirrors

all around

laughing peer's.

Music playing

Friends dancing

Masquerade.

Colorful masks,

in every shade.

Beauty in black,

matching mask on her face,

every eye on her.

Masquerade.

She slips behind a pillar

Walks away in all blue

A silver mask across her eyes,

She's radiant as the moon.

Masquerade.

But walking into a different room,

she's decked out in emerald green.

From head to toe,

delicate as a rose.

Masquerade.

Her eyes hosting a twinkle,

as she looks into the mirror,

shes in the color periwinkle,

and her delight's oh so clear.

 Masquerade.

Before shes leaves,

she's back in black,

and her big secret,

we still haven't cracked.

Masquerade.

A wonder how she pulls it off,

Trading mask for mask.

We'll never really understand,

her true goal or plan.

I wrote this poem ages ago, so I don't know how bad it is now. But any help or criticism would be great :)
