Alone

Alone

A Poem by Frankie Warman

As the lone rock in a stream.
How alone are we?
Passed by at all times by water, eroded with time.
But does this segregate us from eachother?

In the midst of darkness.
We are each a light.
But does our light cast a shadow unto others?
How alone do we make ourselves?

The feeling of hopelessness...
Surrounded yet alone.
Self-induced inescapable solitude.
Give into the dark? Or stay a lone fighter in your world?

The need to concentrate.
To recover.
Circles around an object, an idea.
But what if that idea betrays you?
