It's Then I See Your Face

It's Then I See Your Face

A Poem by TheJordBaker
"

another one I quickly threw together tonight.

"

The train hails me from the sunset
but it never disappears.
The rainfall keeps me grounded
but Heaven’s always near.

The starlight keeps me glowing
and besotted with the sky.
My memories keep me going
whenever I close my eyes.

Because it’s then I see your face
and once more I’m smitten
and another poem is written
of your devotion and your grace.

Fabulous writing!

Especially love "My memories keep me going
whenever I close my eyes."

Very simple, but better than a bunch of fancy words.

simply beautiful
