Summer Sun and Winter Moon

Summer Sun and Winter Moon

A Poem by Bobby Madden
"

Something I wrote about someone I love.

"

Shining through the snowland clouds the daystar sends its rays

Sunlight on our warm embrace shall last for endless days

In a trance I take a glance into your ocean eyes

I lift your chin and kiss your lips beneath the Heaven skies

I hold you close and whisper words of placid zephyr love

You nod with every sentence, my sweet angelic dove

Morning rain on river water is your loving touch

When we're together, there is no such thing as too much

Our temples lean on each other as you take my hands

Your essence is forever embedded in these lands

I don't care if I can't breathe, so please just hold me tight

You're my paradise and my serene dreamscape of light

You take away all my sorrow, loneliness, and strife

You have given me the happiest day of my life

It was my fear that none of this would ever come true

Infinitely grateful for having this time with you

Tell me not that what we have shall ever wax and wane

Let the halls of our kingdom be empty of all pain

May the woodland realm be evergreen even in snow

Summer sun and winter moon will never dim their glow

A misty waterfall empties into a cool spring

Pure specks of light surround us in a luminous ring

Your smile and the sound of your voice enrapture my heart

They dwell upon my mind even after I depart

It makes so much sense and everything feels so right

This is no veil to enshroud the silver luna light

I gaze at the oceans as I stand upon the shore

I make my promises to be yours forevermore

There's this inner folksman in you. It's complimented here with this electronic artist who might take himself to seriouslly, Lol. This is touching and you can hear a melody that sings from it.
