A Missing Quality

A Missing Quality

A Poem by TheOther

A dark blade, oblivion
My soul in delirium
And yet its mysterious

Why am I still curious
To pursue my deliverance
While trapped in my ignorance

When the winds shout furious
In the face of innocence
Masked and pretentious

I cry for the reasons
In my sleep haunt me visions
Forming a solid proof

In my heart still lies truth
To shape me aloof
From a deranged mood

What sinister move
Did I take by chance
To be weak by choice

Suffocation in noise
I obeyed that strange voice
Who taught me to love

Who gave me no notice
And swallowed me up
Like a meaningless toy

Crawling under the feet of destiny
In secret hope to embrace infinity
Its all a test of morality

To unfold that lost quality
To learn to conceal with sensuality
Then accept my self mortality

Equality

I think this poem made it to my most descriptive list. I love the words and how they flowed but, I think Matthew said everything there is to say for this poem.

Hello my Greek Goddess,

Or as I like to call you Christina. I do hate when I have to break out the dictionary, but it was worth it. I just finished reading one of the best I had read today when I noticed you had sent me a read request. So I took a couple seconds, looked her on up and what you know. Another fantastic poem. I am quite happy I took the time to read this.

I am in a deranged mood, I had an urge this morning and some late last night I could not shake. It was eatting at me and blocking all my other thoughts. I could feel my sanity slowly slipping. I was worried I would go into a rage, but alas I was able to get it out. Relaxed myself and felt the inner peace that I had been lacking.....A missing Quality if you will.

You did a fantastic job with this, This is something special.

Always,

Matthew
