A Poem by Edward

Haze fogs your quiet eyes,
Do you know that you’re wearing a disguise?

Or do you just like to tell lies?
Surrounded in disrepair,
You disappeared with out a care.
Leaving me to wake up with messed up hair.

I have to admit I’m doing better on my own,
My heart isn’t incased in cold hard stone,
I’ll take it as it comes.
You taught me that.

Give me a knife or set me free,
Because one way or another,
I’ll get rid of all the ropes that
you left to tether me.

You may think this is about you,
Well, you’re damn wrong.
