POWER

I have the power to hate you
And the power to kill
I have the power to hurt you
And the power to heal
I have control of the power
Power keeping control
Powered up to forgive you
After the s**t that you stole
You took my power and held it
You captivated my will
I let you drain my energy
Let my power stand still
Let you suppress my kingdom
Let you win my fights
Let you crown my kings
Let you slay my knights
I let you lessen my height
I let you tell them I'm weak
I let you quiet my screams
I let you leave me to seek
And I was looking for something
That one thing that you took
I was searching for power
But didn't know where to look
I found the pieces of me
That you left on the pavement
What you thought was disvalued
Was worth more than a statement
I found the voice that I lost
I could yell my command
I controlled my own army
I was taking a stand
I was gaining my power
It was building inside
I was ready to seek you
I would no longer hide
Now I'm holding my power
In the grip of my fist
Let it build till its burning
From the time that I've missed
I smack you with all my power
Tell me, How does it sting?
Are you feeling the anguish
That your s**t used to bring
I control my power
Its my power to own
And you'll never again see me
Knocked off of my throne

I like how you made the words power gain real life and purpose. Search for power and the road to control will leave a lot of wounded people and blood in your wake. I like the flow of thoughts and the very good ending. No weakness in this outstanding poem.
