In the Chaos

Currently a chaotic mind

When up went up

And down went down

When left went left

And right went right

Imagination was our world

Nothing needed to be straight

Childishly dancing around

The order set by others.

 

But then up went down

and down went up

Then left went right

And right went left

We saw the world our way

Forced to follow theirs

Head banging our way

Flipping their rules.

 

Now up goes left

while down goes right

Left goes down

And right is going up

We see the world as it is

Wishing we could go back

Wanting to be childishly dancing

Banging our heads in the chaos.
