Raining

Raining

A Poem by TheSearcher

You told me
that you'd love me.
We had dated.
Seemingly fated.

Yet it's raining

We had hold hands shamelessly
We had kissed.
Together perfectly.
My heart still beats.

However, the rain won't stop.

Is it love I feel?
Or the mask I wore.
To fufill the expectations.
Not knowing nor think of limitations.

It will always rain.
If it rains then I will know it's true and hurtful.

There are a few simple errors in here, such as "you've love me" should be "you'd love me", and "we had held hands shamelessly," "not knowing nor thinking of limitations" and the last line, I'd recommend changing "if" to "When" and eliminating "then" and replacing it with a comma. This poem can use some more raw, personal emotion, and it could be a strong piece.

I love the ending of this piece. Lovely written, the emotions of yours expressed the love of yours. Love's shameless and it's true but to make it true, we gotta treat love true.

Nice poem!
