Musical Appendages

Musical Appendages

A Poem by Awaken the Sleepwalker

With you I can produce such beautiful music
A marvelous, euphoric collection of sound
Moving over the keys and strings quite quick
the beautiful waves whos job it is to astound

long and lean, capable of so many things
Never given enough credit, totally underestimated
Running over the instruments making them sing
A sense of calm through this sound is created

I will always use you to create harmonies
Not making any of the foul severity
That those ingnorant fools couldn't make if they please
Without you this kind of talent would be a rarity

If I were to ever lose you
I would wave the happiness in my life a fair adieu

Beautiful musical imagery. I love the harmony of the words and the music behind them. A very intense and alluring connection to the musical world that really emphasizes how much people rely on their fingers that give them the ability and pleasure to experience and create it. In the first stanza, last line, however, you're missing an apostrophe in "whos". The only flaw in this entire piece. Beautifully written.
