Dark, Cold, Alone

Dark, Cold, Alone

A Poem by TheUnforgivinFallenAngel

Must I surrender my soul...
To the darkest of knights.....
Am I that dove, on his floor...
Cut short of its flight.....
Can you tell me why i feel like this...
Be the one to explain, why I'm not at peace...
As I wander lost in this darkened hall...
As I hope for light, from an opened door...

Wow, I just want to say, wow! I just adore this small poem. I love the line, "Must I surrender my soul...to the darkest of knights..." Great, great job!

Always moving, things are constantly changing,
and there never seems to be a clear answer anymore...just gotta learn to live the way you have to live :)
Good write :)

Again you get the idea that the poet voice is subservient to the rest of the world, and feels lost in it.

Well i liked the fragments of thoughts...it shows that your pensive about what your writing. it seems like your looking for inspiration and their is much present just in between the lines. Whenever people bring the symbolism of a dove it immediatley makes poetry delicate and beautiful even though this is sort of a melancholy piece. well done.
