Forest Fire

Forest Fire

A Poem by TheUnrulyWriter

It doesn’t matter what ash is spread against me

He isn’t finished; he’s still out on his spree

A telltale sign that I’m not quite burned out yet:

The crackle of amber not ready to call quits

They say, “don’t give up!”, they chant, “keep on running!”

But prevention’s the best way to keep him from spreading

Prevention is better than cure, to balance and keep logical with relationship, giving equal importance to everyone, will go World peace. I came to know why you are so lovable/caring person, only for others, not for your personal, clearly shows yourself. There is little patience wanting for to live. Trusting you, which shows burning fire, not exactly what i mean, but the need for me, which i always I ever cared, is only you/Him. I want to join you, to help others.
I like your pic.

Your brief message seems to point toward the common occurrence where someone is being "burned" by a lover, yet he/she won't leave, he/she won't protect him/herself . . . sometimes both sides still have some "burning" yet to do to each other in many relationships. "Forest Fire" is a very good analogy for this, altho I feel the imagery of "fire" could be pumped up a bit.

Well Penned... In my youth I carried my Red Card and fought several fires in California/Washington... You never know when it is over. It can flare up in the damndest places. Prevention is the key.
