Eternal Dead

Eternal Dead

A Poem by Thebextergirl
"

In the bottomless depths of the darkest of souls shades contrast black against the grey of endless wandering........

"
In the bottomless depths of the darkest of souls
shades contrast black against the grey of endless wandering
the consuming guilt of blamed shame,
Lain on our shoulders.

Yet each piece of energy within
still feels as a flame
In the sky of the living,
Where dark doves hover like hawks, where the water runeth black
The flame is kindled within.

For those pure of soul do not realise.
my bones can not be picked
or licked of dignity
through the ticking of the clock, as an eternity passes by
on any given day.
