No longer care.

No longer care.

A Poem by Thekevman

This is a poem about a time where every relationship in my life seemed to be over. Enjoy!

Look at all these people,

who no longer care,

about me, my sadness,

or my existence.

I delusionally considered him,

to be a close friend,

even after past periods,

of cold silence.

Habits rarely change,

I realise in solitude

Another once relevant soul,

we'd exchange secrets,

bond in loneliness

accommodate ignorance with filters.

But now, I'm lonely alone,

without filter, pondering secrets.

With her, it was a journey,

from hopeless lovers,

to the truest of friends.

But now, to her,

our ship is boring,

and we're deceased.

They're hardly to blame,

I, often too cryptic.

Any hint of help,

I'd reject with offence.

Taking moral advantage,

when the coin was flipped.

Too proud to heal,

them,I, us.

I am silenced by,

thoughts of deaf ears.

I can't rewind,

only fast forward
