Glow

Glow

A Poem by There Was A Time

The street lamps had burnt out long ago. The colonizers were gone.

Darkness had swallowed the sun. It would be back tomorrow to guide the fishermen.

The wall offered an ear. It heard everything.

Your silence mimicked an echo. Yet there was no response.

From your hands radiated a glow. You were lost to me.
