Sorry Daddy...

Sorry daddy, I didn’t mean to,

I didn’t mean to cry,

I know you can't stand sound,

Because its the sound of weakness.

Sorry daddy, I’ll try harder,

Harder to stay out of your way,

Harder to not show my face,

I know it makes you mad.

Sorry daddy, I love you,

But you don’t love me,

It’s okay its simply because,

I am her.

I’m still sorry daddy,

I know I’m your mistake,

You see your past in me,

The past but no future.

Daddy, forgive me for,

What I represent,

Which is mommy,

That I know you hate.

Oh dear, so sad. Problems a parent has not been able to resolve binding up their child. That is so cruel / sad. Hope they see resolve soon

This is real poetry. The poem open with tear and sadness. Children pay for the sins of their parent. Hate, disappointment and loss can block our eyes from the good things in a life. No weakness in the poem. Just sadness and pain in the words. A excellent poem.
