Our Three Dimensional World

Our Three Dimensional World

A Poem by Thinker
"

Quite depressing actually, but its how I see the negative points of the world.

"

Our three dimensional world

This cold world, empty and bleak,

Dreams faded, hope snatched,

Yet no one dares to speak,

For the hearts that remain detached.

A mothers’ world had smashed,

The moment her sons went to war,

Now they come back slashed,

Their once beautiful world now sore.

Whilst on the second side,

A child gets robbed of opportunity,

Because skin colour does not abide,

The rules of equality.

Now through the middle,

People are blind,

By those cruel riddles,

That leave the truth behind.

This is what our world has come to.

Discrimination, lies and hate.

very true your words are. this sure is sobering work, this is what our world has come to today, people killing for no reason, people living in extreme riches while ignoring the people in extreme poverty and so on.

You speak truth...it is time to speak out for change. These are motivating words, very well written. All of us deserve to have hope and a chance to have our dreams come true.

You just summed up how far we have come and how bad we have became.. This was brilliantly written and your imagery was splendid for its truth.

I was a poor kid raised in Detroit. I joined in 1975 expecting to go to Vietnam like my father. Poor people will fight the wars. Here in the USA. Kids had no opportunities right now. A lot must join the military to survive. Teaching kids to kill when they should be learning to love, dance and celebrating being alive. In your country the poor must do what they must. We live is a hard world. I went to many wars. But I still laugh drank and celebrated being alive. Can't allow the Devils to know they have won. Better to make them think you are crazy and leave you alone. A powerful poem. Life can be OK. Live for the good we can touch and know.
