A disturbing night

The sounds augur ill

Winds of doom at city doors

As dogs howl all night

We are on the same wavelength my friend. We Absorb the negativity of the day and then it disturbs us at night. Your perfect Senryu is beautiful, wild, evocative with haunting imagery. My own dog is howling so much more than usual..Maybe they are trying to warn us? God bless and protect us all!

Like it. Though i would've changed the last line to.
As dogs howl in the night. Reminds me walking home last Saturday night.

Well nice read,
But silent nights are more disturbing than howling dogs

the sounds of uneasiness....this reminds me of a couple of our big cities and all the crime that is happening these days...

no rest for the weary poet.
