Believe It Or Not Believe It Or Not
This is my first attempt at slam poetry, and I'm excited to film a performance of this piece over the coming day.

A Poem by DIVYA
"

An 'epiphany'

"
Words don't matter
Nor the shade of ink
Bled from the tender
Shaft of an earnest pen
When the reader is
Seduced by his own
Sweetly lurid visions
Yet, woe upon a pen
That could evoke only
Lust in the hearts of men

Well, they do say that the pen is more powerful than the gun.! And your poem is quite powerful too. As you so succinctly put it, the pen can induce lurid visions or evoke such things as lust. Perhaps it is as well to remember the quote, 'Actions are stronger than words'

No doubt, but hopefully now well mended?
Great writers can steal the thoughts of the reader. When a writer bleed his words to paper. Make the writer feel their pain and know their memories. Is the writer releasing his pain and joy. Or just relearning? Thank you Divya for sharing the amazing poetry.

As it is said actions speak louder than words... wo we take words like the salt that flavors the meal... what an epiphany you had and so intelligently expressed.

i like romantic poems...not blatantly sexual...and i guess i read that message in this poem---subtle and sensual works...more graphic is a turn off...but that is just my taste---i like this little gem...
