A Flower; Another Name

A Flower; Another Name

A Poem by C Peril

Tossed upon the Earth,
we grew, as weeds grow
At the expense of something;
to the detriment of something

And whatever beauty
we did produce, it was
quite reduced... By our
label, we were weeds, afterall
Undesirable

Weeds don't belong,
in the ideal garden, son
So pardon us, our poison
But this pretty little
picture

Must be preserved
