Winter's Breath

Winter's Breath

A Poem by Thomas Parke
"

3 views of the world

"

Exemplifying Earth's simple beauty,

Crystallizing human vitality,

Combining science and nature's duty,

The optimist expresses his mentality.

Frozen are the words once warmly spoken,

Frail is the once strong exhalation,

Shattered is the crushed soul once unbroken,

The pessimist expresses his aggravation.

Condensation, it's not too hard,

Winter accentuates its speed,

No words or thoughts are marred,

The realist expresses his creed.
