The Last Goodbye

Goodbye is just a painful way of saying I love you.

As my heart cries out yearning for your name

But the truth is that you never really came

For once I thought you’ll be mine evermore

Yet I can’t find a key to your mere love’s door

 

Our paths have crossed through the murky end

I might be wholly gone but I will come to send

The unspoken love that I have not revealed

And this empty heart that you’ve solely filled

 

Hearing those goodbyes has frayed me apart

As my myriad tears start to cleave my heart

The memories we made will abscond with me

Though my feelings for you are veiled furtively

 

I was once with my prince now I shall let go

A  tale of such dream  from  long  time ago

Soon we’ll meet again if fate brings us back

To the real trail of love that we’ll purely track
