Our First Kiss

Our First Kiss

A Poem by Crifa

It was just a walk like any other,
Laughing as friends as we walked,
There and back without a bother,
Step, step, talk, step, step, talk.

Ending the route, she had to leave,
We ran and ran because she was late,
She was so cute, you wouldn't believe,
As she moved and gestured me not to wait.

We mutually stopped before her drive,
No idea why, we both embraced,
But this hug was new, it made me alive,
Without fear myself I braced.
For the kiss of my life,
The kiss that was fate.

I can definitely tell this has a special part in your heart. Great way of explaining something that only certain people can relate to and relish in the way you do

Kissing friends can be so touchy. It sounds sweet until I read the word 'fate' and then I wonder how it turned out. Good job.
