Beach Sunset

Beach Sunset

A Poem by Tina Kline

The white sand of the beach
is still warm as the sun sets
A cool breeze twists in the air
riding on the warm air currents
A lone gull settles on the damp sand
The setting sun sets  the scene on fire
The gull pauses patiently waiting
as the sun's fire unfurls with a flare

beautiful imagery here...I really connected with the emotions behind this piece...one of nature;s gifts....well described. Loved the final line..."as the sun's fire unfurls with a flare".....

I love this! It's sad though, because the beach I went to this summer reminds me a lot of the one you described here, and I miss it. Beautiful imagery, good topic to write about - I loved it.
