Child Vampire

Child Vampire

A Poem by Tina Kline

Lurking in the shadows

Silent and hungry

Seeking what she needs

Moaning in torment

Pale face approaching

Eyes as if on fire

She comes, so hungry

Death in her gaze

She will kill this night

For she will survive

Vampire child seeking

Moving silently along

Passing open windows

One she will enter

She will take a human life

She has no mercy

She is a predator

Humans are her prey

The vampire needs her food

And that is human blood

It is all that sustains her

She will kill this night

Like so many nights before

The moon illuminates her way

But she doesn’t need its light

She has chosen her prey

She enters a window and feeds

She's so cute in a blood thirsty lethal sort of way. I love this, awesome for sure.

Spooky and very hungry little girl. Vicious and cold, the way a vampire should be. I like this one.
