My Sun in the Sky

It came while I took a nap...

Like a leaf in autumn

I fall for you

following the breeze

flowing, flickering

for frail as I may be

I land upon the surface 

creating ripples in my mind

and I begin to sink beneath

for you are all I see

because I am a leaf

frail as I may be

as if under the water 

I am engulfed by thee

For thou art my heavens

covered by clouds often gray 

The rumbling thunder of my heart

gives me nothing to say

For when I view thee

there's only a smile on my face

Cause my days are sunny 

and never gray.
