The effect of today’s sins

The effect of today’s sins

A Poem by Tomoe Tellez
"

This is a poem I wrote for a villain of my novel "The written forgotten".

"

In the world of the living

Demons cannot win

In this heart full of hate

Love has arrived too late

For in my head rules the rage

That is caused by this new age

Hello Alondra, I have read somewhere that the best way to
Enhance your characters, are to write something About
them outside of the story. I've done it as well, I believe
It works. You've done it very well in this piece, very cool.
Thanks for the send'

Honest and true words my poet friend.

In a world control by hate, war and separation. New age seem very scary. Thank you for sharing the powerful words.

I think of waking up, and knowing I'm still living in the same old, cruel, bloody, hateful world i was born in. and who are all those who go against the injustice? well, outcasts. like me.

anyway, found a song that would go with this piece here's the link : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SBjQ9tuuTJQ&itct=CBkQpDAYBCITCPah-KziiskCFVacHAodd5wIxDIHcmVsYXRlZEifrI7V5ojx39MB&client=mv-google&gl=RS&hl=hu

100 points my friend, no doubts about it.

You are always welcome :D
I can picture this as being used as a voiceover to describe an upcoming show on TV, or a DVD trailer, with some husky voices "Candymanesque" type dude doing the talking. I like the rage of the new age, it is left open for the readers own critique of what enrages them about modern living. (where do I start? technology replacing humans in the workplace, everything made to break and be replaced, Oh I haven't had enough coffee yet, but the list is endless)
I also like the red for demons, hate and rage, and the blue for living, love and new age. It depicts the mind as seeing these words as cold, which might explain the rage within.
Superbly done Sally. Me likey.

You're welcome :)
Firstly, I love the fact that you wrote 'LOVE" in blue, in place of the traditional red. You used red for "rage", "demons", "hate", instead. That's what I call unique, right there. And, as for the poem, I simply love it; all of it. Case closed.
PS: After reading this, I immediately thought of Damon Salvatore - a character from the television series "The Vampire Diaries".
